Anyone can sail a GoBoat
More than one and a half million people have sailed with us. It's safe and easy to sail our boats, and our crew provides all necessary instructions before departure. Only the person at the helm, the captain, must be at least 18 years old.
You are your own captain, and there is room for 8 people including babies and children. We have life jackets for everyone. You can even bring your dog. The map in the boat and below shows which areas you are allowed to sail in. You are welcome to bring your own picnic.

Food and drinks for the trip
When sailing with GoBoat, it's always a good idea to bring food and drinks on board. A little picnic at sea makes your time on the water more enjoyable.
You're always welcome to bring your own, but to make it a little easier, you can easily order food and drinks online from our friends at Nhow Hotel when you book your sailing trip.
How to be a good captain
To steer a GoBoat, place your dominant hand on the handle. Be aware that the handle steers in the opposite direction of where you are pointing. To sail forward and reverse, twist the handle to the right to sail forward and to the left to reverse.
Keep a watchful eye on other boaters and always observe the direction of travel, react in good time as a boat cannot turn or brake very quickly. As a general rule, keep to the right - as in traffic.
The yellow buoys indicate shallow water, so please keep your distance from these areas to avoid getting stuck.
Spread the good vibes and wave to other sailors and passers-by on the quay.

You can choose from different packages to suit your needs. Are you just looking for a cozy sailing trip or do you want luxury? You can add picnic baskets, hats, beanies, onboard entertainment and even get your own logo on the boats you sail in.
We offer packages from 24 people (3 boats) with 8 people in each boat. Our maximum simultaneous capacity is 288 people in Copenhagen, 24 in Odense and 56 in Aarhus. If your event is larger, we can send many more people out on the water over a few hours.
