East‑Side Essentials
Launch your voyage just east of Oberbaumbrücke with its striking red-brick arches. Then awaits the 30 m tall perforated aluminum silhouettes leaning into one another to symbolize Berlin’s unity known as the Molecule Men. Turn around at The Insel der Jugend, pausing beside the haunting wreck of MS Dr Ingrid Wengler, a sunken 1959 passenger ship. A compact yet evocative cruise showcasing vivid symbols of eastern Berlin’s past and present.
Stralau Riverside Reverie
Adding to the 1‑hour itinerary glide into the quiet waters of Rummelsburger See. Pass two protected islets, Liebesinsel and Kratzbruch, home to swans, woodland birds and hidden biodiversity. Drift along the leafy Stralau shoreline, glimpsing historic factories reborn as modern waterside homes and cafés. Two hours of peaceful bay cruising, merging natural charm, local history, and the creative ripple of east‑side life. Perfect to bring your picnic or buy from GoBoat.
Spree River Loop
Start as the 2 hour tour with the Sunken Ship, the Molecule Men and the protected islands. But continue southeast toward the grand Funkhaus - the former GDR broadcasting HQ built in 1951. It housed the largest recording studios in East Germany and today serves as a vibrant media, culture, and music campus visible from the water's edge. Sailing back depending on time sail into the Rummelsburger See to enjoy the biodiversity. We recommend you bring a picnic or buy from GoBoat.
